A quick disclaimer......

Hi family and friends!  I wanted to thank you all for your encouragement and enthusiasm about the coming addition to our family.  It means the world to me to know that we have so many loving people behind us.  Since we live so far away from most of our family and many of our friends, I will be using this blog to provide updates and pictures as we near our due date and beyond.

As many of you know, I have always been kind of antiblog, as this form of 'communication' missed me and my generation.  However, I have been invited to some baby blogs in the past few years and have found them to be a great way to keep up with what is happening in other people's lives.  I am mainly posting because it is easier than emailing everyone and it gives you the freedom to view (or not view) at will.  I also wanted to avoid filling up your email with pictures and musings.  I want you to know that you are by no means obligated to view this blog, it won't hurt my feelings at all.  I will never assume that you have read or seen the pictures and there will be no pop quizzes at the end of each month.  I am a pretty private person when it comes to my personal life and I will likely not be posting anything graphic without additional disclaimers.  Pictures of my belly are very personal to Janis and I and we have chosen to share this special event in our lives with you because we know that you are interested in our progress and success.

We love you all very much and hope you will enjoy!! Jennifer, Janis, Peanut, and Mudd

I am feeling and thinking lots of wonderful things these days, but not really feeling the urge to type them in a post.  So here are some pictures of the belly expansion.
